Red Sox World Series Ring Ceremony
A large red 2004 World Series Champions banner hangs over the Green Monster in left field as members of the team who broke The Curse receive their championship rings. While the Red Sox celebrate on the first base line, their opponents - the New York Yankees - are the vanquished bystanders in the background. The ring ceremony took place on Opening Day at Fenway Park, and afterwards the Sox beat the Yankees 8-1.
